Offgas desulfurization project of Huaneng Pingliang Power Plant (4×300MW+2×600MW)

ENFI undertakes the EPC work, for these two sets of desulfurization system, typical "limestone-gypsum" wet off-gas desulfurization process is adopted. The designed throughput of off-gas is about 9.16 million Nm3/h (throughput of single furnace in Phase I is about 1.19 million Nm3/h and that in Phase II is about 2.2 million Nm3/h), SO2 concentration in off-gas is 2,000mg/Nm3 and designed desulfurization rate is 95%.

One absorption system is provided for each furnace, and the absorption tower is a high-efficiency spraying empty tower; two phases of the project share one set of pulping, dewatering and waste water treatment system. Phase I of the project was commenced in Dec. 2007 and successfully put into production in Dec. 2008; while Phase II of the project was commenced in Dec. 2008 and successfully put into production in Jul. 2009. The desulfurization efficiency in the actual operation is higher than the designed index.
